Ideal DI Output Impedance

I use the XLR output on my Darkglass Element straight to FOH when playing live. The output impedance is 2100 Ohms which seems really high compared to Radial JDI (150) or the Origen Bassrig (500). The other Darkglass pedals have a pretty high output impedance as well.

1. Is there a general range I want to be sending to the board?

2. Is this high enough that I should consider using something else?

Most balanced outputs will have an output impedance no higher than 600 ohms. 2.1Kohms is highly unusual, but the only drawback you might possibly see is slightly attenuated high frequencies, and that might be desirable for a Darkglass unit.
