Identify these old strings (boomers?)

I picked up an old bass, the strings have been on there for ages. This bass just has a sound to it that I love - it's throaty (hard to describe a sound) it speaks like James Earl Jones' voice. The bass still sounds great with new strings but doesn't have that same throaty sound - but when I put these old strings back on (I boiled them - haha) that throaty sound comes back.

I think I read somewhere that really old boomers were different from newer boomers (older ones have silks on ball end too?) - I have never bought boomers so I have no idea. But I was guessing these might be boomers based on how they look. My calipers measure 46-66-81-101 (so probably 45-100) Red silks on tuner end only (sorry they are frazzled - I boiled these strings) and appears to be hex core. Hope someone can guess what they are so I can buy more @SLaPiNFuNK help please!

My guess is they're Boomers.

I've been a Boomers user since the late 80's and I haven't noticed any changes in their tone or performance over the years.

In fact, I haven't had a single bum string, so their consistency fresh out of the pack is amazing IMO.
