Got myself a 5 string a little while ago that was still strung with the same strings from previous owner. I’ve used it for months non stop now and am very use to these strings so thinking of buying more as they’re now super dead and not exactly the tone I’m going for with this bass.
I’ll include photos, if anyone knows the brand of them I’d much appreciate some knowledge about what they are and if I can find them anywhere. They should be fairly recognisable as they have blue tape at the machine head end of the strings, and a tiny bit of red tape down at the ball end of the strings. I’ve not played many 5 strings before this so not sure on the string gauge but after playing my mates sandberg that had 130 B string I was convinced that my B string felt slightly smaller. I’m really not too sure though.
