Identifying strings - again

I'm sorting through some strings (some installed - some taken off) and need some assistance as I pour through string threads. I have listed some of the mfgs I know I have bought. I did buy some EB Slinky and DR Sunbeams along the way too so this should narrow it down:

Rounds
  • colored ends (brass/red/black/green) no silk - really like these on my jazz - D'Addario EXL? although I think I have Fender 7250 on another bass with the same id
  • brass ends no silk
Flats

  • blue silk both ends / colored ends - Chromes?
  • red silk both ends / brass ends - Labella?
  • burgundy silk / brass ends with white numbered squares - ?

Thanks!

Those ball end colors are definitely D'Addario. (Fender brand would have silver for D instead of black.)

  • brass ends no silk
Both Ernie Ball and DR rounds have no silk with all brass ball ends. One way to distinguish the two brand is by their "wining length" (ball end to taper). Ernie Ball = 37.25" for "long scale"; DR = 37.75" for "long scale".

If those colors are gold-red-black-green, then they're the Chromes.

  • red silk both ends / brass ends - Labella?
La Bella flats only have silk at the tuner end. Red silk at both ends could mean TI Jazz Flats, maybe?

An older version of the La Bella Low Tension Flats before they started color-coding their ball ends a few years ago.

They must be LTFs although only maybe 3 years old. I got to start labelling stuff.

I quite like the strings on my old Squier P bass (PV63 pickup) and they are 38" in length to where they step down (taper I assume). The only strings I can find that have this kind of length are the DR Sunbeams which I bought a year and a half ago. I'll write it down this time. Its interesting that I just tried some DR Pure Blues 40-95 on my other US P this week (Aguilar 4P60) and I took them off after 1/2hr. I'm not great at describing frequency differences but I can only assume that the PBs have more mid range which I never seem to like.
