IEM cable question

The cable on my IEMs has gone bad - only works on one side now. In testing, I swapped cables with my lead singer and discovered that I pretty much hated the cable that she was using. Both cables were provided by Alclair when purchased with IEMs, but they were bought at 2 different times. Hers was too flexible, didn't do a good job staying in place over my ears, and just was plain uncomfortable. Unfortunately the cable on her IEMs is now the standard replacement cable provided by Alclair, so I don't want that. I asked Alclair if they could tell me who the manufacturer was or where to buy my cable, and all they said was that they no longer could get them - although they were happy to push their PRO cable that costs $100 as a possible replacement (and while that is an option, I would prefer to avoid spending that kind of money on a cable).

Before I go down the path of spending a bunch of money trying different cables, I figured I would ask for some help here. The IEMs require a 2 pin, 0.78mm connection - I believe it is a type B connector.

So I have 2 questions:
1) Any recommendations on comfortable IEM cables - in particular I'm looking for something that does a good job staying in place around your ears. Also needs to have a working chin/head slider to hold them tight. Cost needs to be $100 or less, and much less would be appreciated.
2) Does anyone recognize the IEM cable in the photo and know where I can buy it or who the manufacturer is? This is my original cable that doesn't work now.

I have a dozen or so random pairs. If you don't have an answer by the time I get home this afternoon, I can see if any of the ones I have fit my Alclairs and report back.

(Edit...I say this realizing that all of the 2-pin cables *should* fit, I've just never tried)

@c5hokie interesting time actually taking a closer look at these cables in that it turns out I never really noticed that they can be flush, recessed on the cable end housing or recessed in the IEM shell (which is what the Alclairs are).

The cables that came with my Westones have the same connector housing, have similar ear hooks that hold their shape extremely well and have a nice chin cinch. They basically feel the same.

I have TruthEar cables that fit and have a nice cinch but the ear hooks are more flexible.

It looks like they're $35. But it occurs to me that any replacement cable may or may not be exactly the same cable (i.e., the one I'm looking at here and the one they're selling now might be different).

You might also take a look at 64Audio's cable (same connector and ear hook design). I don't see a cinch in the picture...I guess that'd be a question.

I could be wrong, but those look a lot like the JH Audio cables I bought as spares. The current JH Audio cables look (different) like this:

They also come in clear.

You could check with vendors such as Tour Supply or Neon Production supply to see if they actually have any of the old style cables.

Given that a set of KZ's are $15 (and sound pretty good. Personally I didn't like the fit/isolation in my ears), its worth a try just to have a spare set of IEM's in your bag.

Whatever you get, also get a shirt clip. They are really cheap on Amazon and help the IEMs stay in by supporting the weight of the cable and keeping any tension that might accidentally be put on it by your bass, clothes, dancing around, from pulling on the ear buds. I use KZs and the cable doesn't look much different than what you have.
