Anyone have any good recommendations for reasonable IEMs that have good bass response? I got some CCA C12 that supposedly had a pronounced bass. I can’t hear myself or the kick at all..

That might be totally due to how much of each you’re getting in your IEM’s.
I doubt it’s the CCA12’s.
The first thing I'd check is if the tips are sealing properly. Are you using foam tips, they should help with the seal and bass response.
this is the answer. if you aren't getting any bass with those buds, you probably aren't getting a good seal. They should feel/sound like expanding foam earplugs if they are seated and expanded properly.
Agreed. There should be no problem hearing bass with those earbuds as long as you've got bass in the mix! On the Amazon listing they appear to come with single flange rubber tips, which are often not great for getting a good seal. I'd highly recommend a set of foam tips as mentioned above. The difference, especially in the low frequencies, between a good and bad seal is night and day.
I have some Comply foam tips for my KZ ZS10 Pro’s, they give a better seal but they only last a month or so (depending on usage).
Getting the right size is important though, and unless you get a good seal you will lose some of the bass frequencies.
Most IEM’s seem to come with a medium quality cable, I upgraded mine to a higher spec 8 core cable and I can perceive a slight difference (improvement) in sound.

Foam tips are not always the answer. Ear contours are very individual, and for some people dual or triple flange silicone tips provide the better seal/bass enhancement.
I've found that for me, whether foam or multi-flange silicone is better depends on the nozzle size...foam works well with small diameter nozzles and 3-flange silicone tips work better with larger diameter nozzles such as the ZS10 Pro.

With regards to the KZ ZS10 Pro IEM’s, does anyone here have a solution to stop the cable coming off the 2 pin connectors?
In use they generally aren’t a problem, but sometimes when I’m putting them away after use one of the buds can fall off. Other than glueing them on, does anyone know of a feasible solution?

Seal is key for low end in your IEMs. The foam tips definitely made a huge difference for me (I've got a set of KZ10 Pros). I've also found mixing IEMs to be much more touchy than floor wedges. There is very little play between not enough, and too much, especially when it comes to the bass.
