If you had to be another bassist...

I've had this wish a lot, in regard to many different players who inspired me so much.

If I had to pick one, I guess Jeff Andrews. Because he can tear your head off with a solo, but if you need a band bassist, he'll be right there for you all night long. Not all the flighty finger players can go deep and stay deep. He can.

Can I pick another? Mike Rivard. Cause he's so versatile, and he gets called for a lot of wonderful projects.

Good things come in threes. Willie Weeks.

i want to be the next flavour of the month bass player who'll grace the cover of the magazines and make a boatload of cash. i can ride the crest of a wave for a few years, playing my crappy derivative music with my crappy derivative band, and then you can see me on " cribs " with my mansion and 6 cars. hahahaha. ( is that me laughing at myself or me as that guy laughing all the way to the bank ? )

Whoa, I don't know most of the bassists you've added.

I would go with Paul Simonon from The Clash, Carlos D from Interpol and of course Geddy Lee from Rush.

Runner ups: Chris Squire (Yes) and Dee Dee Ramone (Ramones)

Roger Waters? I mean, the guy can be groovy sometimes but technically he's really poor. I used to make fun of him all the time (even though I love Pink Floyd)
