Only guitar I have ever owned:

Gibson Les Paul for me all the way. For /me/ (not everyone else) they are the only true [electric] guitar. And I am sure its because of Ace Frehley's influence when I was a kid cause thats all he played back then (don't know about now).

I have a Telecaster, but only for the sake of practice. And because I like that sound. As backup guitar tracks for my own amateuristic recordings.

If I was going to sell my basses and become a fulltime guitarist I'd get the following:

- a nice classic Stratocaster
- an Ibanez RG
- Line6 Variax Acoustic 700
- Yamaha electric classical guitar

And I would probably end up with about 10 little combo amps guitarists have so many choice of. Vintage, reissues, JC-120,...

1. Jazzmaster
2. SG
3. 72 Tele Custom Duluxe (whichever the one with the SC in the bridge and the humbucker in the neck position)
4. Gibson ES 335
5. Fender Starcaster
