I'll genuinely miss Stephen Colbert...

With everything going on in the world, there was nothing comparable to waking up with a cup of coffee or two and watching clips the previous evening's Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Last night's final show was amazing! Macca was his last guest to be interviewed as well as a great performance!

It's in my queue to watch when I get home tonight. Last night I watched the best of Stephen Colbert from The Daily Show and laughed the entire time.

I will miss The Late Show as well but I'm sure he has lots of future endeavors for us to enjoy.

I get where you're coming from, but all the OP did was mention the talent of someone whose show is ending. The rules are the rules, if they need to be flagged here, it's a sad commentary on the world.

The circumstances of his exit are stupid, but I think he was never as funny on the Late Show than he was on the Colbert Report.

He just seems like such an excellent dude. Watching him recite Tolkien and Keats to Robert Plant was onr of the purest things I have ever seen. He’s clever, kind and pleasant and I am confident his future is bright.
Also, I have played with his bandleader Louis and Louis has just played with Paul McCartney, so that’s one degree of fab, right?

During the rousing finale (I won't call it out if anyone hasn't seen it and still wants to watch), I loved seeing Paul front the band with his Hofner while Endea Owens played arco on her upright behind him the whole time.

Always loved his vocal talents in animated shows. Harvey Birdman and Venture Bros are 2 of my favorite shows ever.
He's gonna do better, not being on network TV anyway.

Similar threads have run afoul of them and gotten locked recently, so I think a reminder is appropriate. I've had to report a thread, even. Feels pretty sad to have to report a post I actually agree with, but it is what it is. The rules are there for a reason.

Yes. Also loved the first song, with Elvis C, Jon Batiste (so nice to see him come back) and Louis Cato.
