In case you missed me (save the usual BS), I just got home from spending the last week (minus 2 hours) in the hospital. Very strange occurrence ... essentially a kidney attack. There was a blockage of a tiny artery in my kidney by a small clot, a renal infarction to you , Mike. A CT-scan, two MRIs, Xrays, ultrasound, and consultation from eight different specialists, including cardiologist, heart surgeon, thoracic surgeon, two internists, infectious disease specialist, and urologist all figured it out.

I don't remember much about the first four days between all the demerol and morphine, but the wizards figured it out, and it's being treated medically without surgery. I'll give you a clue. If you're ever given a choice between this thing and a heart attack, take the heart attack.

On the up side, I lost 10 pounds.

If I would have known you were gone, I would have missed you Munji.

Hope you are feelin' alright chief. You are one of the all time greats in Talkbass history. Plus, I still have that picture of you and Bootsy and Buckethead on my computer and it's still awesome.
  12. Glad you are back, and no permanent damage. Renal problems suck.

Munji, you are not allowed to be ill, or absent from TB without permission ever again. If you have a renal infarction, or any other kind of fartction, just tough it out.

(Dude, I'm really glad you're ok, seriously. I know a bit about that situation, my younger sister has been through stuff like that, it's scary. I hope it all continues to work out OK, and let us know how you're doing...crumedgeon or not, you're "family" here. Now, enough of this drivel...when does that diet book come out? :D)

Pain free, and eating real food. I didn't eat for four days. Fortunately, I had my reserves built up.

Thanks for all your thoughts, guys, even the ones that couldn't find their way clear to "save the usual BS."

That's another book entirely. Wait 'til you read the non-anal fart myth section:eek:

Welcome back, Munji. You'll be happy to know that I heard GC is now carrying Meyer Sound equipment... at a deep discount.

    Feel better.

I thought for sure you finally went to jail. I pictured a Jack Nicolson-esque incident with a golf club inside of a guitar center.

All kidding aside, I'm glad your OK.

wow I hope everything turns out alright with the medication. Heh, with all those scans and Xrays i'd make them check for radiation poisoning.
