In case you missed me (save the usual BS), I just got home from spending the last week (minus 2 hours) in the hospital. Very strange occurrence ... essentially a kidney attack. There was a blockage of a tiny artery in my kidney by a small clot, a renal infarction to you , Mike. A CT-scan, two MRIs, Xrays, ultrasound, and consultation from eight different specialists, including cardiologist, heart surgeon, thoracic surgeon, two internists, infectious disease specialist, and urologist all figured it out.
I don't remember much about the first four days between all the demerol and morphine, but the wizards figured it out, and it's being treated medically without surgery. I'll give you a clue. If you're ever given a choice between this thing and a heart attack, take the heart attack.
On the up side, I lost 10 pounds.
