Yeah, 9050-5 sets would be a great addition.
Edit: sorry, more explanation— Seems like Chromes go heavy and most everyone using 9050s likes the 9050L lights. A light 9050 5 set would address the lack in the chromes lineup.

To me, Chromes are a specific thing. A certain flavor of flatwounds. One that I like.
They fit my gauge preference. Heavier on the treble end, lighter on the bass end. They have a good winding length.
If you walk into a music store and ask for flats, once the counter person understands what you're asking about, they look over at the wall of strings. And if they have any flats at all, they're going to be Chromes. The default strings if the inventory system says you have to carry flats. They are the Coke and the Pepsi of the flatwound music retail universe.
The Chrome high C string is one of the few flatwound C strings I've tried that I like, for stringing E to C.
Chromes also provide a good signal to send through pedals, as players like Tim Lefebvre and Michael League have wonderfully demonstrated.

Tonally, I like Chromes better than other flats I've tried (SIT PowerFlats, GHS Precision Flats).
In terms of feel, though, I prefer GHS Precision Flats (they're not as stiff and not as oily feeling under the fingers as Chromes).
I have 40-100 Chromes on one of my basses. Good strings, but not for me.

I have a set of Chromes (40-55-75-95) that I bought in '03 that are still going strong after having been on a few different basses. Currently, they are on my '78 Guild B-301.
Here are some recordings from '06 when they were on my April '98 4001V63.

I agree with you! I would like a 110 or 115 for an open D1 note. My D1 is a 105 from their medium gauge (50-105) set. It's nice, but I would like more balance on the bass side.
There is a 110. It’s npoas (not part of any set) though, so you gotta snag it as a single
I like my set the 20 years they've been on my '75 P bass.
Just recently came back to Chromes on my Jazz bass. A lovely combination.
I tried very hard to love La Bellas — I've tried the FM, FL, FX and LTF — but all the while have been very happy with 45-65-85-105 Chromes.
Have to admit, I like them before their tone evolves into a more traditional flats tone, I like how responsive they are, I like their relatively long sustain, they really suit my touch.
I'm about to put a 40-55-75-100 set on another bass, and intend to let that set get old and more flatsy. We'll see

Chromes are good. My favourites are Ernie Ball Group flats(glassy smooth feel), Optima Chrome, and I was very impressed with Fender flats - they have a soft supple feel and nice tone.
How do Chromes compare to Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats? I like D'Addario strings and would be willing to give them a shot. Looks like Chromes are slightly less expensive than Cobalts.
Maybe try a set bas on a 90 E? They sell singles of alllll different sizes. That said it depends on the bass.
