I've been trying to decide between the two for like two months now and I need to make a desicion

I ususally play 6 string basses for just about anything, but i thought that an acoustic would be nice for school and stuff

Well, if you already have a six string electric bass or two, I'd say go for the AEB. You'll get more use out of it than another bass of the same vein as the ones already in your stable.

Yes, but you *might* need a new nut cut for it.

they are some of the best basses in my opinion

that schecter is a bit sexy like, but if you already have a six string bass or two, then unless it's radically better than what you've got the acoustic would be the sensible option, no?
but the schecter's still really sexy.

The Schecter could always be got in the future, if you already have 6er's.
