Anyone been paying attention to all the rain in the Pacific Northwest?

At this moment, the only options I have to get out of my state is to fly or take a boat. There is water everywhere!

-Mike

seriously, I had heard nothing about that! I must have been living in a cave for teh past few days..
Shoot dude stay warm and dry! Be careful

We're trying. My mother-in-law is literally trapped inside her house. There was a small creek running next to her yard. It has now turned into a lake all around her house. There is 4' of water all around her. She can walk out, but her car is stuck, and maybe ruined if the water goes any higher. She lives down a long, long gravel road in a rural area.

Two of my co-workers had to sleep in their cars last night after all roads to their homes were closed and they got stranded in high water. Hopefully they will be rescued via chopper today. Their cell phones are about to die, so they are totally stressing out.

Reminder folks....keep an emergency survival kit in your car/truck/SUV/whatever.

There are cell phone battery-chargers that work with AA batteries. You can look them online.

I know we have some in Turkish sites.I can buy one and send you but it'll need to be dropped from a plane unless your post office has boats or fish-postman.:p

Too much water can be sucky yea,be careful man.

I'm just a couple miles south of Sylvana (west of Arlington.)

My home is up on a plateau so its high and dry. Getting to/from there is the questionable part. Last night when I drove home from work my normal route had a section of road (about 500 yards) under two feet of water... I turned around and backtracked to the one other route in. When I drove into work this morning THAT route had water nipping at the side of the road in a few spots... not sure if I'll be getting home tonight!!

Good luck to you and your family Mike!
