Imitating Avalon U5 tone #3

I have recently realized that I love what the Avalon U5 does for my bass, particularly tone setting #3. Has anyone been able to convincingly imitate tone #3 on the Avalon U5 using a parametric or semi-parametric EQ? I'd love to see if I can dial something similar in 1) in a DAW and 2) with an effects pedal like the Tech 21 Q/Strip.

As you mentioned, the curves for each are shown in the manual. Looks pretty straightforward. Just use a very gentle HPF with a knee frequency around 40-50hz, bonus points if it has a resonant peak at the knee, then do a wide Q cut of about 4db around 1.2khz.

Addendum: The U5 is more than just an EQ. Matching the curve won't sound identical to a U5, but should get you some, if not most of the way there.

That’s why I referenced a resonant peak at the knee of the HPF.

I think the bit at 20khz that looks a little over 0db is just the thickness of the line used fooling the eye.
