"With sad news, Jon Peterson passed away this past Feb 1st. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed."

After learning he was still doing repairs out of his home, I took my EUB to him just last year. He sold an old Kay decades ago at World of Strings.

RIP Jon. I only met him once but so many people I've met in LA spoke so highly of him. A life well lived.

Sorry to hear this.
My Juzek bass still wears Jon's bridge, soundpost, and a repaired top-crack.
He did fantastic work, and my bass always played and sounded better after a visit to him.
He will be missed by the Los Angeles bass community.

So sad. I have been playing a Hoyer bass that he hooked me up with - it was originally in the rafters at World of Strings back in the 80's. Great guy.
