Having had many trials and difficulties this year such as fighting terminal cancer, losing 2 lifetime pets and on the 15th, a day after your brother, I lost my mother, they only thing I feel I can say is that there is strength, peace and comfort in God. That's where I go when things get real tough.
I pray for peace for your family. My deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss.
