In search of a replacement

Ok here is my problem... My brother inlaw lives in Amsterdam and he came to the states for my wedding... to his sister..lol... soooo... we went to a local music store were I live and that he used to go to when he lived here too.... he ended up buying a brand new Rickenbacker 4004Cii, but he had too much stuff going back, he had his family and all their luggage... so I got to keep the bass with me... you can imagine how happy I was....


Now.... he found out a friend of his travels from NY to Amsterdam for work about every 3 months... sooo.. he is gunna have him come and get the bass at the end of August....

sooo... to make a long story short.. I got spoiled playing this one.... now going back to my old Yamaha RBX170... just don't cut it.... it's not the sound per say, it's the feel of the neck.... so I need to find one with the specs like The Ric' that is about $300 bucks....the main thing is the dimensions of the neck... I have listed them below:

Neck at nut: 42.9mm (1 11/16")
Neck at 12th fret 54mm (2 1/8")
Crown Radius 254mm (10")


I am searching online for something as close as I can find in that range... I am trading int my Yamaha and my old bass amp. an Ibanez sw65 as I now have an Ampeg B200r... and that is another story...lol

So any help gang????

Ibanez ATK 300 sounds pretty damn close neck-wise. It's $500 new, so I'm sure you can find one for $200-$300 used.

I don't think anything is gonna make you happy after playing the Cheyenne. I just put mine down, and it's the best feeling bass I've ever owned. Nothing could replace it. Start saving now, and put one on order. Should take about 2 yrs, plenty of time to save for the full payment.
