Sounds like a desperate attempt to make money because he looks like someone famous. Wait until he gets slapped with the legal fees from both sides when he looses.
Please keep your other things to yourself as well.

Seriously though, what goes through people's heads when they file these lawsuits? I suspect it's something along the lines of "Money!".
Even in my wildest of dreams I couldn't imagine suing for more than $10 million for anything. This guy is an idiot for suing for so much. If he sued for <$100,000, they might just settle for the hell of it.
In any other country, this wouldn't even make news. It would be laughed at by all, and promptly thrown out of court. But in America... you just never know

What makes people do things like that? Honestly, I´m puzzled here because I´m not really familiar with the US legal system (aside from things you learn from movies), so help me out. Let´s go through the main points:
1. The guy has a snowball´s chance in hell to win the case, right?
2. If he loses, he´ll have to pay all kinds of fees, right? How large sums are we talking about?
So what does he have going for him? Does he think Jordan and Nike would want to make a deal outside the courtroom? Why would they, remembering point 1? Or is he counting on the publicity, thinkin he can make some quick $$$ with the sub-celebrity status he´ll achieve with this case?
My head hurts.

Oh oh I will sue Fender for popularizing and creating the electric bass which causes us to have G.A.S. attacks and spend and waste a lot of money on it... Whos with me , if we get all of Talkbass, we can win, and then buy more basses XD...

Well he won't have as much trouble being mistaken for Michael Jordan anymore.
Here on out he'll be recognized as the jerk who tried to sue Michael just because he smelled money.

The fact that even the POSSIBILITY of this case showing up in court shows exactly what's wrong with the American legal system. Every American flushes about 30% of his income (very conservative burk guess) in the cost of legal fees and court settlements. Lawyers buy Bentleys and the average citizen trying to get by gets SCREWED. Lawyers are leaches that prey on our society and accomplish multiple injuries to society for everyone they so-called protect! Shakespeare was right! Oh well thats my rant for the day!
