Buddy gave me 4 of these these. He said theyre from an old, possibly 80s 810. All the cones are torn so im wondering if they're worth reconing? I know its around $100 locally to do that. They look like old 70s speakers and theyre pretty light.

Those are CTS's from the 44th week of 1974, some of the last of the old alnico CTS SVT speakers. Ampeg switched to Eminence ceramic magnet speakers soon after, which are also great but not quite like these. They don't take much power (4 of them in a 410he cab would handle about 125w before blowing), but tonally they are the standard by which all SVT speakers are judged. I don't know what people are getting for them these days, but I would do it just because they're old CTS's and they're not making them anymore. Of course, that decision would depend on whether I had money to burn on it or not, but I reconed mine in my 73 flatback 10 years ago and I'm glad I did.

They may be PA speakers. The size of the voice coil can help in determining if it would be good for bass.

Note, they are 12 ohm so not from an 810. An 810 uses 32 ohm speakers. If 12 ohm doesn’t work for you and you have them reconed, you MAY be able to have them change the impedance to what you require.

This; wrong impedance for an SVT

That looked like a smudged 3 to me.

The part numbers are the same as the 32 ohm speakers I pulled from my old B40 cab and the aesthetics match. Mine were dated 75-10

Edit to add - this is another speaker which was in the same B40 cab, painted basket but same part numbers and dated 74-26

Ive reconed ev 15bs and it was about $100 each. Hmm. What would be a good ampeg cab for these? I wound think they should be reconed to original spec or they wound sound different correct? I do know that they can be made to handle more power when reconed but if it changes tone, seems silly to do.
