What problem? You need to be specific as none of us can read minds. But I have had problems with the inputs on both basses. since day 1
Nice basses! What problems are you having? The only problem I have with my 805MS' input is the locking jack, and that's just irritating, I wouldn't necessarily call it a problem.

If you don't like the Neutrik, it's a 5min DIY job to make it non locking.
At a distance, it's impossible to diagnose, but my first suggestion would be what @tdawson suggested. On all the leads I make I use Neutriks and have forever because they're so consistent and reliable so Neutrik/Neutrik isn't ever an issue. In my practice area I use some cheap ebay leads that also work fine, so I dunno. The socket on my BTB is a genuine, not a knock off, so that eliminates that. The Jack locks in , but I never get a solid connection , the connection or lack of is random
Have you tried another cable? I find some have odd tip shapes that don't work well with some connectors. (And a Neutrik is a top shelf conector!)
Here is the text I copied from a post in the long EHB thread where there are pics from @Nuage420. I didn't save the post as it was obvious to me and I hope should be to you too as it's simple to do.I appreciate ya tellin me bout the DIY .
If ya don't mind
Can you tell me how to do just that .
I'm glad that you unleashed the wrath of Ibanez on MGR and got your money back!I ordered a BTB 846v from music go round,
They sent me a used - altered - (to change the appearance) with 1/2 the serial # gone
I was sent a stolen BtB 745 but I paid for a new 846v .
I contacted Ibanez Hoshino and
they scared the **** outta them
so , I got my money back and the 745 for $0.00
It cost me 300 + for repairs, parts , etc
It's a great bass (again )
the input is the one & only issue

I like MGR.
But if I buy a bass,I only buy directly from a local store store.
My BTB's Neutrik has no problem.I cannot help you there.
