So i finally got my new pickups and my new pot and jack for my bass. Question i have is how would I go about hooking up only one pot and how do I know which leads to connect to on the pot (How do I know which lead to connect ground to, or which lead do I connect the positive wire from the pickups to, etc.)
I have the Seymour Duncan basslines and one audio pot and one jack. can anyone provide a drawing that I can follow or give me specific details.

ummm go to the manufacturer's website and look at the wiring diagram for your specific set of pick ups.
