Interactive, Online Lessons?

I'm wondering if there are any good online interactive courses, or instructors who teach online (via Skype), etc.? I did some research here but did not succeed in finding anything.

I commute between two cities during the week and arranging a schedule with a "live" in person instructor is impossible for me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, Brian

well, im biased, because he was my last bass teacher, but glenn letsch does online lessons. i believe he has been doing this for a couple years. he is currently busy touring with robin trower, but i know he will be free in november if you can wait.

i dont think this is a shameless plug or anything, but here is his site:

hmm... oddly enough, i dont see the online lesson thing there right now. maybe he doesnt do it anymore? again, not to plug glenn, but hes a great teacher, and itd be worth at least sending an email. i know he at least used to do it.

im still in occasional contact with him, but havent taken lessons from him in years. he has (or had... not sure) a column in bassplayer, or some other magazine, has written books, has a video i think, and teaches at a local community college.

if he still does video lessons, hes the man, and an excellent way to go. can you tell i liked him as a teacher? hehe... whatever choice you make, im sure you cant go wrong. good luck.

My instructor does exactly this. You can contact him at: [email protected].

I believe Pacman (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/member.php?u=1621) has also taken (in-person) lessons from Russ in the past.
