Interesting DAW discovery .. Ableton "sounds better" than Reaper ?

you say I need the Ilok License manager on my laptop ? . sounds easy enough, so I wonder why SoftTube just does not say this when you register on their website. I'm willing to believe their plugins are good, but their authorization process s**ks!

The manual for all of their plugins I've purchased indicates that an iLok soft license is required. The way you authorize an iLok soft license is through the iLok License Manager software. I can't speak to the manual for the bundled plugins. Once you get used to the iLok License Manager it's a pretty easy process if a little convoluted.

side question ... has anyone been able to successfully validate/authorize the SoftTube plugins that came bundled with their Focusrite (or other?) interface. It's driving me nuts that I can't get this done

it's trivial for me, both on Windows and Mac. just install Gobbler and it'll do everything. I also install iLok License Manager (I have some iLok plugins that are not Softube) and then activate them all.

an utility (and a shop) to download, update and authorize some plugins.
my all Focusrite Softube licenses are there, but I redeemed them a while ago, so don't remember the registration process. it looks like that I don't even have a Softube account, just the Gobbler one and iLok.
