Interesting disposal method

Woman burns dirty couch, damages apartment

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

So, let me get this straight. Your couch was old and smelled, so in a feeble attempt at destroying it, you destroyed your apartment and got arrested for arson. Yep, sounds about right. I love Florida... :D

Ah, stupid and fire, the two have mixed for as long as time itself!

A scummy family back in my hometown fell out with their neighbours. So they poured petrol (gasoline) through the letterbox and set fire to it. Their neightbours lived downstairs from them.

Though on saying that, it's the same family who, when they had a house, a few members were arrested because the had cut down a telephone pole and were feeding it through their living room window into the fireplace.

Though I'm sure every small town has that family!

Better question...

Wow. Just wow. :rollno:

What is it with Floridians and burning things?

Well, it's flat and hot. Since we can't go skiing, why not set some **** on fire? Seems logical to me... :)

Meth is a hell of a drug.

I wonder what percent of native Floridians make up the population compared to people who move there. I have a sort of nebulous theory that crazy people flock to Florida for some reason.

I was told that when a lot of the mental institutions closed down in the 80's and 90's that those states bought the displaced "non-dangerous" patients bus tickets "somewhere warm". Apparently these states didn't care enough about these people to make sure they were safe, but did care that they didn't freeze to death while living on the streets.

This is one of the reasons why there are so many homeless in southern and western states.

I heard this from a former police officer that I worked with in Arizona.

I see the trend. Whenever I see someone up here really messes things up, they move to Florida. Like it's all going to be ok in paradise. I bet the same goes for California.

There was a story here back in February about a woman who was burning pictures of her ex boyfriend when her house went up in flames and killed four of her children. She is now awaiting trial on four counts of manslaughter.

Drugs are bad, mmkay?

HAHAHAHA!
Oh god, I just took a sip of coffee when I read this. Do you know just HOW painful hot coffee is when it comes out through your nose while going down your windpipe at the same time!?? owww, dammit!!!

Holy Shiznit! Glad you're ok!

Thanks. Luckily it wasn't our building, but 40 people were displaced because of it. I had actually just come home about 10 minutes before and we heard sirens and realized they weren't going away (we live by the highway so it's normal) but they weren't getting closer either. I looked outside and saw a flashing blue light, and when I went outside I turned the corner and the whole building was in flames.
