Double Bass Interesting Quiver Design

I've been thinking about making a quiver as a COVID project and stumbled on this. Thoughts? I like that it kind of blends in, but the bow placement might get in the way for pizz.

Seems like it might get in the way. You could attach a standard quiver in that position to try out the idea. The only thing unique about this quiver is tapering. Any quiver could be hung on top of the tail piece.

I’d be worried about it pinching and wanting to close. I’ve been making quivers that attach over the tailpiece which is beneficial in preventing the standard problem of them flopping over when the bass is laid on the treble side.
This design has worked well and has been popular.
