Hey guys, I have a Redeemer DC 5 bass , that I just bought (used); it has a piezo bridge and I've discovered the D string saddle is intermittently fuzzing/distorting. It happens sporadically - no particular pattern.
Anyone know whether you can replace just the D saddle and how to connect the new piezo wire to what is under the bridge. Or do you have to replace the whole bridge with all the piezo wires . There is no access plate under the bridge so I'd have to lift the bridge which I'd rather not do until I have some advice from someone. I've sent a message to the maker of the bass too , so lets see what anyone comes up with. I like the piezo sound and being able to dial it in with the humbucker . I'm in Australia and I doubt there's many guitar techs who have much experience with piezo bridges here . Luthiers yes maybe , but T.B. is a wealth of them , so .......help please.
