+1. I see this all the time. Beginners tend to pull the E string down to the G string side, making fretted notes go sharp.Pulling the string down to make it sharp?
That is a real possibility. I'm using heavier gauge strings, LeBella flats. The E string is a 110 gauge. I'll check that out tomorrow.Is the nut slot cut for the string gauge you are using? Make sure the E is not pinched in the slot. Any binding at the nut will make setting the intonation difficult.
