"Invisible" pics/links on certain users posts?

Hi.


Out of the context -or random one-liner- replies intrigue me for some reason.

Quite often those replies intrigue me enough to look at the said persons posts on their profile.

Every once and a while there's quite a bit more visible on the posts listed on the profile than it's on the thread, usually something very much resembling a hotlink, a pic or an ad.

I don't disable the ad-blocker to see whether those lines would appear on the thread posts as well, they dont seem that intersting .

Is that related to the third party generated hotlinks there was a recent thread about, or something else?

There were some third party generated hotlinks, but they should be gone now...or not happening currently anyway. Link?

The individual on whose posts I saw these, probably has nothing to do with them, so IMO no reason to make his handle public.
