IOS Amp Sim comparison

Between iRig, Link Removed, iRig MIX and [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] with the Camera Connection Kit there are TONS of great ways to bass (Or Guitar) in and out of your iPad or iPhone. Plus we HAVE been listening to your bass gear requests. We have stuff in the works as I type... ;)

It's almost exactly the same amp that we already have!! Definitely not different enough to get excited over.

We waited for months for a REAL bass update. You'll have to forgive us if we're under impressed.

We suggested dozens of amps/effects, and we get ONE.

I'm selling my Irig to a guitarist and moving to AmpKit for good. What a letdown.

Things like this take time. We were able to update it with 2 amps. 1 for guitarists and 1 for bass players. Not to mention the amount of time it took us to get it to the point where it was spot on. To each their own. Best of luck in your search for tone. :)

I've been holding out for some reason. Probably will get it if I ever switch to a 30 pin interface. I'm still using the Irig interface, so I've been trying to avoid new purchases because the sound quality just isn't awesome.

I did buy the B15 in app in Amplitube, and I'm very impressed, so a 30 pin interface may be on the short term shopping list after all.

I have to say that the B15R amp really impressed me. I didn't even know about it until today and in fact had not even been using Amplitube for iOS because I didn't care for the bass amp sim.
The B15R really gets a nice vibe going pretty easily. I dialed in a very nice warm vintage tone in seconds and stored it to a preset. A slightly more bass heavy tone(r&b, reggae) in another second and another preset. Switch from 100 to 60 watts, sounds great.
Wish it had always been this easy to get great tone...

Although, there are strange things with my B15R model, such as the ULTRA switches and the On/Off switch performing the opposite function of their labels. I have to turn my sim off in order for it to engage and if I want to boost the lows, I turn on the ultra hi switch & vice versa. Weird.
