Some people spent the night in line but there weren't nearly as any people as there were on June 29, last year when Apple released the original iPhone. It's a party-like atmosphere, especially when someone walks out with their new phone to an ovation from the waiting customers and Apple employees."

i love the AIM app, but it keeps you logged in unless you change this in the settings for the program.
the remote is amazing. control your iTunes from anywhere in the house via wifi.
the weather bug app is a LOT more useful than the weather app that comes on the phone.
there is a very cool app called baseball. gives you stats from 1871 and 2007. very much worth checking out.
all those apps are free btw.
i do NOT like the facebook app or the bank of america. i'd much rather just use their respective iPhone sites.

iphone, meh......
I got a Samsung Instinct, all the functions of the iphone that I would use plus native GPS and Sprint TV and Radio. $129 out the door and $73/mo with unlimited internet/tv/gps/messaging etc.

I do... I've been a Windows only guy since Windows 3.1. The company I just joined is a Mac house so I had to convert. Running Parallels with WinXP give me the best of both worlds.
All the activation issues were on Apple's end. Whoever thought it would be a great idea to release 2.0 and the 3G for mass activation on the same day deserves to be beaten.
That said, 2.0 is nice. For those that don't need 3G or GPS on their phone (+ the $69.99 monthly fee) and who like 200 text messages a month, the old phone is fine.
The way I calculate the ATT service including Family Plan service brings my cost to around $65-70 per month - just a few dollars more than what I have now with our Nokias.
I can calculate it down even more on a Cost Per Phone basis using the family plan as well - essentially spreading my data plan across the other phones in our plan down to under $50 per phone. ATT has streaming TV media as well, I believe, but I'm not interested.
If you like the Instict, then all is well. I plan on getting an iphone for the same price as what I have now.
PS- I'm already an ATT customer eligible for upgrade by the way, and I dig my current ipod.
