Doh! Hot glue, they copied my hot glue idea. I stole that fair and square from a fella dirt biker years ago and never had another LED break.

When I built my fEARful cabinets way back when (2009) and made my crossovers, I knew they'd be banged around and thumped and transported lots. The large and/or heavy components I spec'ed out got hot glue gooped and multiple zip-ties. Now more than 8 years later...not a single problem or failure although they're well worn and have been banged, tipped, thumped and all sorts of van/band/gig related indignity.
