I recently bought a Hofner Ignition Violin Bass online. When I recieved it, it looks fine. There are only two things I noticed 1) the back of the head has a sticker which reads "Crafted in Indonesia" and has no serial no. information and 2) the truss rod cover has "Ignition Series" written on it instead of "B-Bass Hi Series" which I usually see on pictures and video online. Do you think this is an authentic Hofner Bass that is made in Indonesia? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is Hofner Ignition Bass "Crafted in Indonesia" Authentic?

It's fine. Originally, that model was made in Indonesia. Later, they were made in China, with a slight rebranding to the name from Ignition to B-Bass HI .
