Or could it just be a matter of taste buds changing. Getting weaker or just getting tired of the food.

I had McDonald's recently and it tasted better than I've had in years since I rarely eat there. And I think the frequency of eating that is a factor.

Tommy Burger for the win, right near the one zero one freeway.

Tommy's off the 405 in fountain valley or me, it's a bit out of the way and that off ramp is a humongous pain, but any time I can get it it's a real treat

Face it, a lot is marketing. Making a decent burger isn't rocket science, nor does it require anything near gourmet ingredients.

I once went to Louie's Lunch, a bar in New Haven known for having created the hamburger. A small burger between two slices of white bread, a small bag of chips, and a small soda will run you about $13.

As far as fast food burger chains go, In-N-Out is the best and easier on the wallet. IMO. I really like their shakes too.

Folks camped out overnight to be first in line when they opened one in my area.
I finally tried it and seriously wondered if I was being punked. IMHO it did not come anywhere even halfway close to living up to the hype.

Are the In N Out burgers always cooked with pink showing? As rare a burger as I've gotten at a fast food place. I didn't request it like that.
