Is it bad form to order drinks from the stage over the PA?

Sorry bellowing your drink order and demanding staff to bring it to the stage is highly unprofessional. This is not only my opinion but the clubs owner states it is forbidden in the rider for our next gig.
Treat the staff as professionals. To many bad musicians make it hard for the good ones to gain respect with clubs.

you missed my point! i agree, you don't holler at the staff to bring you drinks, they're freakin' busy (if you're doing your job right). the idea is to cajole the crowd into buying the band rounds (if it's that kind of party) so that the bar makes money instead of losing money on discounted band tab drinks.
