This could also be a bad input jack. This sounds weird, but try plugging your bass into the tuner jack. Volume will be less but will isolate the fist input stage.

Plugging it into the tuner I heard nothing. Strangely, I could hear faint sounds of music or something through my speakers, lol, weird

Have you worked the mute switch a few times? It sounds like trouble in the preamp (easy to replace components).

Yes, there are no user servicable components in your amp. Give the manufacturer a call and see what THEY recommend you do. Most quality manufacturers are very helpful in these situations.

I took all pots off and sprayed with cleaner. Turned amp back on and it worked fine..

Hope you sprayed with something that won't damage the controls over time. Did you ask the manufacturer what they recommend?

No I just used contact electronic cleaner.

Is this common with GKs? What did you get when you sent it back?

Ampeg SVT7Pro, which was nice for the time but I wouldn't ever buy one again. Had that thing die a bunch of times too. Loud Tech's 5 year no questions asked warranty was nice though.

I've since moved onto a GB Shuttlemax 9.2 and Traynor YBA300
