Is my Squire a VM?

Is there a way to get the details about my Squire Jazz bass? I can across a review Invalid Link Removed Squire Vintage Modified Jazz Bass and the picture on top looks exactly like mine. Except mine has "Duncan Designed" pickups which I guess were on "previous versions of the VM Jazz Bass" so I wonder if that's what it is?

It's probably a VM Squier with the Duncan designed pickups. It's definitely not a squire.

Yes, Squier VMs used to have the Duncan Designed pickups.
I've played the old ones and recently bought a new one. Some people actually prefer the DD pickups.

Cool! Because I really knew nothing when I bought it and could have ended up with anything. I get the impression that the VM ones are a little nicer.

Mine's nicer than quite a few Fenders I've played.
I've heard plenty of praise here at Talkbass for the older ones, too.
