Yes but it seems that these insects :
- are not interested in dry/seasoned wood as found in a healthy (not humid) home.
- prefer sapwood (soft) than hardwood.
So it should be ok.

Yes but it seems that these insects :

So it should be ok.
So the case is all sealed up in a couple garbage bags with the mothballs. I forgot how unbelievably potent those things are 
. How long do you guys think I should leave it like that to get the job done?
