Thise dells are nice, how the OSX run on them?

I know 2 of the guys use theirs regularly (daily)... they keep bugging me to do the same. I almost grabbed a Mini9 when they were at $199 but I'm holding out for a 16-17" Fujitsu desktop replacement type laptop to replace this dieing Compaq I'm on now.

surfing and email it's perfect... if you are looking to install apps, you'll need to make sure they are the right kind.

Nigh perfectly from what I've read, once you get it set up (which isn't too much of an issue as there are drivers for everything in the Dell Mini 9 or 10v). I've looked into it, but I'm waiting to see what Apple does first.

a trusted friend swears by asus or hp. that is all i have to offer. the rest are just details and what apps you want to run.

I have an HP version of this compy. It is a 'solid state' computer, meaning, it's a flash drive with an OS, keyboard, and screen.

It does go kinda slow.

However, ASUS is highly reputed as a gaming computer company, and is trying to break into the cheap PC market.

You have to be careful which Eee you get. The 900 has a pretty brisk 4GB drive for the OS and a slow 16GB drive for /home. Some (the 900HD maybe? not sure) just have the slow drive for everything.
