Is there a Jacksonbacker club?

If not I guess this could be it.

I need to find a case or quality bag for my new Jacksonbacker. What is everyone else using?

Don't see one in the club list:

(doesn't mean there isn't one)
Go ahead and make one! (I did for the Fender MIJ JCJB) @G-Dog and @B-Mac are great resources for wiki help. I can help some, but I'm a noob when it comes to wikis.
The only thing I see is a Jackson/Charvel club.

Remember, although the ‘Jacksonbacker’ name is popular the actual name of the bass is Jackson X Series.

Starting a club is easy. Staying with it is the hard part if you want to see it grow.

Clubs don’t always get added to the WIKI unless they start to catch on. If you start one and it catches on I’m sure @G-Dog will help add it to the WIKI.

There are many threads about the "Jackson X", as evidenced by this search of thread titles. The oldest thread, back in 2019, seems to be the longest lived. A club is just a thread proclaiming a certain thing, after all, so have at it.

You don't need any wiki skilz for a club. When you get several members, and think you can keep it going, send me a TB Private Message requesting entry on the TB Clubs & Groups INDEX and I'll add it there for you.

That's "all" there is to it.

Not all "Special Interest Groups" use the term "club". Some of the most active threads on TB use neither term.
True, but in this case there is a fair deal of hostility and overall noise all over the Jacksonbacker (CBXNT DX) threads, specifically (as opposed to those about other Jackson X Series models).
If I owned one, and were a club-joiner, I believe I would much prefer a fresh start.

To which purpose, @mercbass:
this very thread seems to be as good a place as any. One thing you could do, and is often done, is post in the most promising among the existing discussions (your pick as to which ones below qualify)
What in the world?
New Rickenbacker Inspired Jackson Bass
Jacksonbacker?
New Jacksonbacker CBXNT colorway.... whoa!
Jackson-backer: I'm Impressed! (quick demo video)
Other basses that sound like the Jackenbacker?

and invite actual owners to join you here.

And add to thread title…. ‘There is now’. :smug:

Sending out invites to actual owners is great to help ensure a fun club full of like minded fans.

Jackson X Series CONCERT bass. Not to be confused with the Jackson X Series Spectra bass, or the Jackson X Series David Ellefson basses.

After visiting each of those treads in your attached list I wouldn't refer to any of them as a club. Mostly curious minds asking about experience with one due to contemplating purchase and lots of bashers.

Tis true, the thread I suggested was for all kinds of rickenbacker-ish basses and not just for the Jackson concert one... The club sounds like a good idea. I don't have one but I've honestly had GAS for the light blue one... Probably going to end up with one one day
