Is there a regional forum section here for TB'ers?

I didn't say it right in the title... just wondering if there's a place here on TB where TB'ers from a given geographical area can post about state of music scene, etc.,??
My question is prompted by the fact that there is a remote possibility of moving to a little north of Wichita KS in a year or two, and I'd like to talk to other bass players about conditions there, music scene availability, stuff like that. There must be others here that travel or move, wondering similar things about their destination areas.

There's gener "___ Bass Player Club" threads for certain areas. Doing a title search for "Kansas" I only saw this:
KANSAS bassists

You can always bump it or start a new one. You can also check the regional GTG forum to see if there's anything happening in your area.

What he said. Look in "bassists" and search for your state, see if there's a state "club." We have a New Hampshire one but it hasn't been active in a long time.

Well, I started this thread so I'll close it. We moved to Newton KS, which is about a half hour north of Wichita. Bluntly - been here 4 months and there's nothing I'm interested in. Lots of screamo metal, lots of classic rock, zero blues which is what I am most drawn to. I was offered a chance to audition for a very popular band that works a lot - they play top 40 and Britney Spears. I politely declined. So... my basses and amps got their covers and cases, and shoved into the closet. Yes, I'd rather not play at all than play bubblegum tripe. I guess I'm not a born musician after all.
