Looking for a recorder just to have around for acoustic jams with buddies and what not, not looking for anything professional, just want to listen to what we played...I was looking at this, but price is a bit steep for me at the moment...any one got any others?

A line out from your mixer to a regular old VCR's audio inputs will
capture surprisingly good results for free if ya got one sittin around...

High-quality Cassette recorders can sometimes be found with microphone inputs on the used market for very low prices too.
