Is this loud enough?

Will a 300w 1 12 markbass combo be enough for a 3-5 guy band practice? What about gigs of different sizes? I could add another 12 cab to get 500w eventually. Any input?

WAY loud enough. I play my LM II through a 4-Ohm Avatar 112 and have to barely turn it past 2 (out of 10) and there is plenty of headroom.

sweet, I cant wait till I can afford that combo. It'll be just what I need for college next year. What size of gigs do you think I can handle with just the 300w?

I don't want to set your expectations too high, but I'd say it can hold its own in up to medium sized club gigs. It's also really really light, and will be good on your back.

Yeah I love that its light, especially since I weigh about 130 soaking wet, and am probably weak for my weight haha.

Plenty loud IMHO- I use the LMII with a 8 ohm Aggie GS112 & has HEAPS of Headroom

It's probably pretty loud.. but do you know what you'll be playing up against? You said you might have 5 guys practicing at a time? If there are multiple guitarists with halfstacks.. you may want to consider that extension cab, or even more possibly.
I've unfortunately never had the chance to play a markbass.. but from what I've heard there very responsive and efficient.
