Is this Streamer a "good" bass?

I'm considering buying this bass, and I don't know much about this series. Any help/comments would be appreciated.

Looks like a decent bass; I'm not sure the going rate on those though. There are others here that could tell you if that's a good deal or not...

I think thats just a bit high, I feel like they usually go for $600ish. Check closed auctions on ebay.

The Streamer Standard was basically the pre-cursor to the Rockbass. I'm not saying its a cheap instrument, but by any unit of measure known to man, it basically is. For $750.00 I would steer clear of it and find yourself a nice Streamer LX or Corvette.

I have that same bass and I really dig it. It's a very good bass.
The price is to high IMO I bought mine last year for 350€.
It is indeed made in Germany right before warwick change this model to Rockbass.

I looked at these when I got my warwick years ago. THey are nice, and FAR superior to the rockbasses, but the corvettes and LX streamers are nicer. Not to mention, you could get those basses for 600-800.

That is waaaaaay overpriced. You can typically find one on ebay for a lot cheaper than that.

I saw a 5 string version of this bass go for $450 local to me about 4 months ago.

Yeah, I'd say that's pretty well overpriced. Those are the lower-end Warwicks, and you can do better with that kind of $.

It looked like a Rockbass, or a precursor to one. I'll stick with my Corvette then :]
It's a passive bass, the one I have but it's still so smooth to play with such growl.

Clue... look at the bridge. not the typical warwick setup (ala alembic)

I think this was the only model warwick had like this beofr ethe rockbass series (what? around 2003 or 2004?)

Anyways they did these in the late 90s. You can snatch em up on ebay ocassionally for under $500. Yeah they are the warwicks that go cheapest. Almost got one once. Never played one though so I cant help you there.
