Issue (or not) with my Tech21 VT Bass deluxe

Hi,

I recently acquired a tech 21 VT bass deluxe (v2, with the simulation of CAB buttom). Everything is fine, however I notice a particular noise problem. For example, when you activate a switch with the settings it contains, and you start turning a knob (most generally, the charactère, volume or drive knobs) to modify the pre-recorded value, then a fairly strong parasitic sound appears which is more or less timed on the frequency of LED flashing (not all time, but often).

I send a mail to Tech21 and they told me : "The pedal will be noisy in edit mode when the digi-pots are unlocked. Once you save the preset the pedal should be quiet".

I do not especially want to question what is said but, does that do that to you too? Isn't that a problem with my particular pedal?

So that means that, if you want to use a preset, but just modify it a little bit for a song (but without saving it), it's not possible because of this unwanted noise?

Best regards from France,

They have already given me an answer but I am still quite surprised that it is "normal" as it is not practical at all. That's why I ask users if they have the same thing.

For example, how to modify a patch to find a sound if the latter is permanently spoiled by this buzz?
