Today I accidentally found some obscure record from my high school years, This Hungarian band called "Express" made some good Disco songs in the late '70s.
I just found this in a thread in the "Recordings" forum...

There was a 16 bars bass solo, and the bass player appeared at the edge of the screen for exactly 1.5 sec. How typical.

Change - Glow of Love
"Change" was an Italian disco/funk band, very much inspired by Chic. One of many bands created by famous (or infamous) producer Jacques Fred Petrus, "Change" first lineup included fantastic bassist and composer Davide Romani, and equally great pianist and composer Mauro Malavasi. Also there are Luther Wandross and Jocelyn Brown singing uncredited.
pdbass recently made a video on this band, which I highly recommend to everyone interested in disco and/or funk music.

"Voyage" was a great band! Fantastic, tight group of highly skilled first class musicians. And the legendary Sauveur Mallia on bass! In my DJ days more than 40 years ago I used to begin my set with their song "Souvenirs" and end with "Gone with the Music" (or sometimes "Let's Fly Away"), also by "Voyage".
