This album released a few, few years ago, 2016---had it on repeat, for a while at my cigar shop. Synths sound unreal on some decent headphones---every track is solid gold. Not sure what genre---electro soul disco boogie funk?

Hadn't heard her before. I tend to stick to 70's stuff, regardless of genre. Discogs classifies her output as funk,soul.
One thing I've noticed about a lot of the songs in this thread is that they're very well produced. Even when I don't really care for the songs themselves, they have a very pleasing sound.
Yeah, one could diss disco all they want (we know who they are
