It's rare that I like white pickups

not black - but I just threw some creme covers on my red Squier II (over EMG's) - I think it looks hot with the maple fretboard

It better looking because the pickups are dirty and grungy looking. They're not white. That's why it looks better.

I had some on my Aerodyne to match the cream binding, but I just couldn't get used to the look...probably because I couldn't find a matching J-cover. I never got pics, but might redo it and snap some pics for ya. Also, I think it looks better with a maple neck, like in the pics above...

I have the exact same bass but it came with ugly, crappy plastic knobs.
