I've switched to guitar...

I see lots of people coming out of the closet. BURN THEM!
But, ive been tempted myself honestly, because metal bass IS boring in most cases, with a few exeptions, but luckily i like rush and primus too.
And i cant see myself playing guitar in a band. its just not me.(possibly rhytmguitar tho).
But as soon i get a really nice tone and start practicing yyz ill be fine.
A keyboard could be cool though.

But i recomend everyone feeling its boring to play bass alone to download Guitar Pro or Powertab. Its a cool program, and you can play to guitars and drums etc.

I don't NEED more chicks...I have all the CHICK I need in my wife...more than I can handle...we wear each other out! And we are totally in love...so no one else need apply...and she totally loves what I do and lets me do whatever I want to whenever I want as long as we have the money...so what more could any man possible want...and she totally loves me and I totally love her too!

my guitar... yeah, i'm boring.. but you can't replicate the fender tone... and i love it!

I learned guitar before bass, so I'm better at guitar... too bad bands only want me for bass though. Oh well, i love both!

Seriously, what's the deal with people "switching"? Is there something that is preventing them from playing both? Just because I like to pick up my Strat, or my banjo, or mandolin, or sit down at my Roland.... does that make someone any less of a bassist??? To quote Yves Carbonne, "I'm a musician who uses a bass guitar as a tool."

Yup very nice guitar a friend of mine I known for like a year and a half has that one. and my other friend who is a guitar teacher has that one as well, he uses it for teaching and dinking around on.....

I like playing bass even alone. It gets me a break from crunchy guitars so I can practice to get my playing solid!

Yup thats right! and Were happlie married for 6 months so were newly weds still. Anyways I am not going to totally ingore the bass I will play it from time to time.
