Jack Casady or Allen Woody Epiphone

The JC is a long scale and the Allen Woody is a short scale. Also the JC is just larger all around.
I used to own a Allen Woody, and it was SUPERB! I played around on a Casady once but not long enough to have an intelligent opinion. I'd love to find another Allen Woody some day.
I'm interested too.
Had a Casady back a few months ago and I kinda wish that I kept it. Although I did need the money at the time.

I've heard nothing but good about both. I have the Casady and it's an excellent bass with a range of sounds.
I have both a JCS and a Rumblekat.
The JCS has a much heftier neck and the body is considerably wider than the R-Kat.
They sound different for obvious reasons, but I'm not going to attempt to describe specific differences since it's so subjective and specific instrument/rig dependent. Suffice it to say both have very viable tones available. However, I will say that, IME, the R-Kat "bridge" pickup alone can fit well within expected P bass range of tones.

Does anyone know how to find out about the chamber inside the Rumblekat? How big is it and what shape? Who would know this--somebody at Epiphone?

It never fails to inspire and delight me with new tones and possibilities, and is a joy to play unplugged when I just want to relax.
Haven't played the JC, since I have tiny hands, but the Rumblekat is everything I wanted in a semi-hollow body - and then some.
