I've got one and totally dig it. I think I knew from the moment I played one that it was the one for me. It's got tone to die for-- especially if you're looking for a vintage kind of vibe. I always get compliments about it's look-- but more on the way it sounds. If you get one, get an old Ampeg B15. That is a match made in sonic heaven.

My Jack sounded HUGE with flats, I really liked the GHS Precision flats, but opted for the TI JF-344's. The GHS Pressure Wounds, gave the bass a real nice 70's sound with a flat wound push....those strings were loud, and I had feedback issues with the PR's when I got close to my stage monitor. The Jack was the right fit for me, but I got into a modern gospel gig that requires a 5'r; sold it for a Fender Roscoe Beck sig..........I really miss my gold top!

Great basses, one of my favorite hollowbodys. They have a huge acoustical tone to them.
